Our Bespoke Philosophy
We believe that everyone's different, and bespoke should apply to things other than just tailoring. We'll work with you, using our years of knowledge and experience to develop your vision into the tour you've dreamed of, take away the stresses and strains of organisation and leave you to look forward to the perfect break.
So, what do we do?
- Face to face or telephone discussion with all members of the tour party to understand everyone's wants and expectations, where they want to go, what they want to see, how they want to travel, where they want to stay and eat, how long they want to be away for and how much they want.
- Preparation of bespoke itinerary, with suggested options to compliment the main purpose of the tour.
- Follow up discussions with all members of the tour party to finalise the itinerary.
- Preparation of an all-inclusive tour price to include your guide / host, travel, accommodation, meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner), snacks throughout the day, entrance fees to all museums or attractions etc.
- Research into relatives for battlefield pilgrimages.
- Book all travel to and from agreed pick up point and accommodation.
- Provide a guide / host for the full duration of the tour.
Have we missed anything, is there something else you need? If so tell us because it's your tour, your bespoke tour, custom made for you.
Feel free to contact us with your bespoke tour needs.
Charles Dickens' grandson, Major Cedric Charles Dickens, died during the Battle of the Somme. For many years, it was assumed that he was still buried in his original field grave near Combles but when it was opened in order that he be transferred to a cemetery, he could not be found. He is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial.
